New Website!
Welcome! And some words on my brand new website, and plans for what I'll be doing going forward
After months of work, here we are!
After months of work, a swelling of ambitions and goals with the site, dozens of hours of coding, back-end frustrations, interruptions and more: we are here. The new website is done. A haven for my ramblings about camera and imaging related topics!
What I have in mind
Since the earth shattering events that have unfolded over the course of the year of our lord 2020, I have found myself neck deep into photography again after years of not being very active with one of my favorite hobbies. During the pandemic, I took up collecting vintage lenses, expanding my camera collection, and in general I became a budget-minded gear hound. My plans for the new site were to create a place where I can post ramblings about these lenses. Here are some of the goals I have in mind for this:
A picture of a baby duck for your time!
- In-depth lens testing, with as much technical acuity as I can muster as a hobbyist
- Lens reviews and subjective thoughts on pieces of gear
- General ramblings on the art of photography, specifically nature and landscape photography
- A place for me to document my growth as an artist
Hopefully I can add some value to the online photography community and grow this site into something special!
